God’s Power Resides in the Cross!

At a time when we must be hyper-focused on the LORD, distracting forces are causing some to become fixated on things of the world and extra-biblical phenomena. To remain secure in Christ we must be fixated on God and His  Word. The Word is our plumb line, the standard by which we live our lives.

God’s work of redemption is confined to planet Earth and Jesus was sent, to the lost sheep of the House of Israel (Matt. 15:24). To believe otherwise diminishes or eliminates the work of the Cross.  Jesus—the King of Heaven—came to Earth, to Israel, to die on a Cross to save humanity. His Blood opened the way to enter the Kingdom of God and to become members of His family. The events surrounding the Cross were not repeated on any other planet or any other place outside of Israel.

“.so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” Hebrews 9:28

Jesus died once, and for all! His Cross stands at the center of God’s redemptive purpose.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” 1 Corinthians 1:18

The Cross is the power of God unto redemption and salvation; there is no other way provided, no getting around it, or circumventing it. It is God’s answer to sin and the only door to resurrection Life in Christ.

In a vision, I saw the tribulation and the culmination of history as a picture of the Earth passing through a giant Cross. It was the cleansing and purifying process in preparation for the Lord’s return. The Cross through which Christ died is the pattern by which His people are formed—death preceding resurrection, surrender preceding glory.

I recently heard two prophetic words about trains: one spoke of a train that was coming, with the warning to get off the tracks; the other was a question from God as to how long it would take for a freight train to come to a complete stop, which because of its weigth was approximately 2 miles. After hearing this I then saw a picture of a Resurrection Glory Train coming, with a giant Cross attached to the front. I believe that train is coming to Canada and the nations in a work of cleansing and purification. The invitation to all is to get on board, with a warning to all to get off the tracks, and not to get in its way or try to stop it.

Jesus, the King of heaven, came to earth in a defined pattern that reveals heaven’s intent. His coming as a son of Israel, His life, His Cross, His resurrection, His ascension, and His Kingdom establish the pattern and point the way to entering in. God told Moses, “See to it that you build according to the pattern shown to you…” (Heb. 8:5; Ex. 25:40). God means exactly what He says; we are not free to add to His Pattern, take from it, distort it, or compromise on it.

There may have been much grace and time given to learn, grow, and understand the pattern, but as history moves toward its conclusion, God will ensure the pattern is established in completion exactly as He has ordained it. Hebrews speaks of a final shaking, “that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.” God’s ordained structure is the only one that will not be shaken and remain standing.

It is coming forth as the freight train carrying the Cross; those who oppose it and attempt to get in His way do so at there own demise! The Cross is the power of God. The nations of the world will pass through a season of shaking and discipline. The world’s systems, represented by Babylon, will ultimately fail and Babylon will fall! The call from God is a trumpet He isounding to come out of her as Babylon’s days are numbered.

“Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues” Revelation 18:4

Those who live and move and have their being in Christ are the ones who get on board and align with His will–they will be able to stand. God is a Consuming Fire, and this is not the hour to play with Fire. That fire comes to cleanse and purify.

“For He is like a refiner’s fire… He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi.” Malachi 3:2–3

God is now preparing a holy people to carry His presence, His authority and His Glory. He does not apologize for requiring holiness and the full sacrifice of our lives. He wants it all. He paid the price in blood and intends to have it all. Elijah built an altar on Mt. Carmel to repair what had been broken. He arranged the sacrifice, and poured water over everything. Then the fire of God fell!

“Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water.” 1 Kings 18:38

The Fire consumed everything. the wood, the stones, the dust and the water—it consumed all! God is moving to reclaim what belongs to Him. He is not a reactive God, responding to geopolitical movements and the world’s chaos. The kingdom of darkness is reacting to God! The nations rage, and the rulers plot, but “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh… Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion” (Psalm 2:4, 6).

The enemy is reacting now to His Rising, to His intention to reclaim the Earth and bring all things under the government of God. When YAHWEH moves, nothing can overturn what He has purposed. No malevolent force, earthly ruler, political movement, system, power, or principality can cancel the eternal counsel of God. When God makes a move, the earth trembles. Lightning flashes. Thunder rolls. Nothing can stop His movement, and darkness cannot overcome His Light.

Nothing can stop the freight train that is coming carrying grain and supplies for the Harvest, carrying Glory and power for His saints, carrying the resources for churches and Ministries, the oil, the wine and the wheat for his Bride.

The darkness flees in panic at His coming.

This is not the hour to procrastinate or play with our faith. This is the hour to buy oil and watch for the coming of the Bridegroom! This is not the time to remain trapped in endless debates while neglecting the preparation of your heart, but to feed on the Word of God that it would become embedded in the very cells of your being. Access to the Word may not always be as easy as it is now; therefore, we must feed on it now, know it and carry it in our hearts.

The Word must become the foundation on which we build our lives. Let His law be written on your heart until His truth becomes part of the very foundation and structure of your life.  To become a living sacrifice was not a polite suggestion—Paul said it is your reasonable service.

“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1).

Leave the debating society, humble yourself before God, and repent. Stop procrastinating and find Him: “Seek the LORD while He may be found” (Is. 55:6)! Work while there is time. Jesus said,

“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.” John 9:4

Starve the flesh’s appetite for comfort, complacency, doubt, hesitation, and hiding. Go all in, and you will find Him waiting for you! Stop being a pretender. Pay the price. Pick up your cross and follow Him, as Elijah and Elisha did, for the journey ahead is great. Elijah knew the cost of the journey. When he was exhausted in the wilderness, the angel of the LORD touched him and said: “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you” (1 Kings 19:7).

Feed on His Word. Fill your lamp with oil. Repair the altar. Put everything on it—all. Take up your cross and follow Him. The Bridegroom King is coming!

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke 9:23
